Le travail «Guest Service Relations» existe dans presque tous les domaines de travail. Mais comment est-ce dans l'industrie hôtelière?
Après avoir passé quatre ans à Vatel Lyon , Julie Tondeur a décidé de terminer sa scolarité avec le MBA Spécialisation Management du Luxe à Vatel Paris . Dès qu’elle a obtenu son diplôme, elle a été embauchée comme responsable des relations avec les clients de l’ hôtel Rosewood , l’un des plus beaux hôtels 5 étoiles d’Angleterre. Puis elle est devenue superviseur et ensuite gestionnaire dans le même département, en février 2018.
De l'enregistrement au départ, dans mon métier, je transforme les séjours de nos clients en expériences inoubliables et je crée, et bien sûr entretiens, une relation de confiance entre nous et nos clients.

Qualités innées et compétences à acquérir
L'industrie hôtelière est un domaine où la passion et l'exigence sont de mise, et cela est particulièrement vrai dans le secteur des marques de luxe. Ce sont des qualités qui ne s'apprennent pas, elles doivent être innées, tout comme le sens de servir les autres, ce qui signifie être un bon auditeur, comprendre et même anticiper ce que les autres aimeraient. Ensuite, il y a les compétences que Vatel nous apprend: autonomie, polyvalence, prise d'initiatives, etc.
Un hôtel de 306 chambres comme le Rosewood demande beaucoup de réactivité et une prise de décision rapide!
L'industrie hôtelière est un domaine qui nécessite beaucoup d'engagement personnel mais en retour, c'est un domaine qui procure une énorme satisfaction et où l'on rencontre tant de gens fantastiques.
