"I started working the day after I finished my internship. I think that’s one of the very best decisions I’ve ever made!"
says Thanatat Boonpeng proudly, as his last internship, at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok, was immediately followed by a job.
Thanatat Boonpeng is now the Sales Coordinator: “This job gives me the opportunity to keep on learning with my guests, as each of them has different requests or demands, and I, of course, have to satisfy them.”
His missions now also include Corporate & Leisure sales (travel agencies), which is something completely different. Something new to learn every day, a key word for this young man who dreams of “becoming a true manager, a leader who can always make the right decision, the one that raises the organizational levels. To do this, I’ll have to work hard and learn a lot more.”
He fondly looks back on his Vatel Bangkok years. In his practical courses: “I really appreciated the cooking courses, my luck in being able to try out new things.”
As for theoretical and management courses, he explains that what he learned will be decisive for his professional development.
His conviction? “By using what they’ve learned at school and during their internships, Vatel students can become the best hotel managers ever.”
