My introduction to Vatel Hotel School in France was through my daughter when she took admission there as a student in August 98 for her Masters Degree in International Hotel Management. She and many other international students have found this Masters Degree program excellent as it combined the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of Hotel Management very well. This combination helped her and many of her classmates secure internships with reputed hotels like Hyatt Regency, Hilton, etc in France and Worldwide. I feel my daughter’s experience at Vatel Hotel School has helped her grow and accomplish many wonderful achievements in life.

It was in December 1998 that Vatel Hotel School offered me the position of Director of Vatel India for the purpose of recruitment of Indian students as I had first hand knowledge of the admission procedures, the details of global industrial training placements by Vatel Hotel School and the visa procedures for students leaving India for France. I could understand the apprehensions of Indian parents very well, so I decided to join the Vatel group as I knew I could also help other students achieve the best in the hospitality education field.

For the past eight years, more than 200 students have availed free services, counselling and guidance of Vatel India for the various courses in France, such as Bachelor's Degree after 10+2, Master's Degree and MBA Degree after graduation in international Hotel Management and at the same time the students from BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, and other backgrounds, have also taken admissions in the Master's Degree at Vatel Hotel School. Out of these, 80% students are working abroad in good positions as Hotel managers in International hotel chains, cruise-lines, foreign airlines, wine industry etc, some of them have opened their tea rooms abroad, and some have set up their own restaurants and French pastry shops in India. Some students are also working at good positions in hotels in India.
